A Mervin Globe brand

An example itinerary across Türkiye

Istanbul, Cappadocia and Bodrum, eleven nights

Three worlds in eleven nights: the city, the valleys, then a week by the water where nothing starts before ten. The shape of most of the journeys we design, and the one the sample dossier on our homepage was written around.

A motor yacht lying off Bodrum at the end of the day, the masts of the marina behind it

An example itinerary. It shows how a journey here can be shaped; it is not a fixed product, and yours would be designed around you.

Who it suits

Families with children of any age, and anyone who wants the sea at the end. From late May to early October the water is warm enough to make Bodrum the point of the journey; in April and late October the same route works with the coast as a quiet close rather than a beach.

Istanbul, nights one to four

A house on the Bosphorus, chosen so that children can walk to the water and parents can see it from bed. The old city with a guide on the second morning only; a hammam for the family alone; Topkapı by the quiet door before the groups; the Spice Market for the children's list. Dinner on the first evening comes to you, on the water.

Cappadocia, nights five to seven

The flight after breakfast, not the one at dawn. A house in the rock with a terrace for the sunset, one early morning for the balloons and breakfast waiting afterwards, a potter's wheel for small hands in Avanos, a long lunch in a village garden, and nothing after four.

Bodrum, nights eight to eleven

South by air with a connection in Istanbul, planned so the day still ends with a swim. Four nights above a quiet bay. A boat for a day, with a captain who knows which coves are empty; Gümüşlük by boat for the sunset; a day with nothing booked and a table held in the old town in case. Ephesus is a long day from Bodrum: we would rather you chose it than inherited it.

Home

The car is ordered around the flight. The last swim is before breakfast.

What it includes

  • Two short flights, both after breakfast
  • Calmer bays and a steadier boat where there are children
  • One designer from the first call to the flight home

How it is private

Pace
Days are shaped around when you are at your best, not around opening hours.
Privacy
Your own car and driver. No shared transfers, no meeting points, no waiting for a group.
One person
The designer who writes your journey is the person you message while you are on it.

Making it yours

Longer or shorter, slower or fuller, with children or without, with another region added: everything here can change. Tell us who is travelling and we will redraw it.

The price of a journey depends on the season, the hotels and the number of people travelling, so it is written into your dossier, not printed here.

Start from this, or from nothing.

We will design the rest around you. A travel designer reads every message and replies personally.
